Concession of Disability ID Card :

Disability ID Card for blind people:

If you don’t want to do that or are unable to do that, then you can approach your local council, and they’ll sort the application out for you; if you apply for their ID Card online, they’ll pass it through to your local authority. Anyway, for them to process, it can take up to eight weeks to get your  ID Card. You get your ID Card within two weeks. I think that was great; once you get your identity Card, it’s effortless to use on the bus. With their being blind, you can’t find your ID Card reader.

Which is usually situated at the driver’s side, so you give the driver. Your access ID Card will pop onto the scanner, and that’s it regarding the train. If you’re registered blind with a disabled person’s access card, you get on the train; you don’t need to get any tickets. If you’ve got your ID Card or the partially sighted Card, you obtain your tickets before you travel, pay your half Fare, and then make sure that your ticket and this Disability ID Card are to anybody on the train; your best to see it.
